If it does not run, try running it from the terminal : To execute the pre-compiled binary, copy it and the "libs" folder from the zip file, give it executable permission, and double click. ( note - a dependency exists of libc6 >= v2.34) Or use the command line from the folder where you extract the Debian package to, as follows : sudo dpkg -i quickhash_3.3.4-1_b To install on any recent GUI based Linux distribution (such as Linux Mint), just extract the downloaded zip to a folder, double click the Debian file, and enter the admin password to install. The pre-compiled binary is provided for your convenience, as not all Linux users have a Debian package manager. Users are encouraged to use the Debian package and package manager, where possible.
